Help a Stage IV Colorectal Cancer Survivor Rebuild His Life
I am a stage IV colorectal cancer survivor from Pakistan. My journey has involved major surgeries, intensive treatment, and life-changing physical and financial challenges.
In March 2025, I underwent extensive surgery that included an abdominoperineal resection (APR), resulting in a permanent colostomy, as well as a resection of part of my liver to remove a liver lesion. My treatment journey has also included radiation therapy involving the region of my iliac artery.
Surviving cancer has not meant that all the struggles are over. Living with a permanent colostomy requires continuous access to essential medical supplies, including stoma bags and accessories. These are not optional items for me; they are necessary for everyday hygiene, dignity, and managing my condition.
My recovery has also affected my ability to work and support my family financially. I have been unemployed for an extended period and am struggling to manage basic living expenses alongside the ongoing costs associated with my condition.
I am a husband and father of two young daughters. My wish is simple: to manage my daily needs with dignity, care for my family, and gradually rebuild my independence after everything cancer has put me through.
I am seeking to raise US$5,000 in support. The funds will help me obtain essential colostomy supplies, meet necessary recovery-related expenses, and cover basic living costs during this difficult period.
