My uncle, Shaukat, has worked hard for twenty-six years. Those years have brought him more hardship than reward, and poverty has been part of his family's life for as long as I can remember.
He raised five children. Three of them have passed away — a grief no parent should ever have to carry. Today only his son and his daughter remain with him, and both of them work to help keep the household running, because the costs are more than he can manage on his own.
After a lifetime of struggle, his one wish is to see his two children settled. His daughter's wedding is already fixed for November, and the family does not have the money to meet what a wedding costs.
I am raising these funds on his behalf. We are asking for 200000 to cover:
the wedding ceremony and food
essential items for the daughter's new home
any remaining household need
Every rupee donated here goes toward that, through the platform, and the running total stays visible to everyone. Once the campaign closes, the amount raised will be handed to Shaukat and his family to meet these costs.
