Short, practical answers to the questions we get most often. If your question isn't covered here, we'd rather you asked than guessed — see the bottom of this page.
Open the campaign you want to support from Discover or from a link the organiser shared, enter an amount, choose your payment method and follow the prompts. Once the payment is confirmed, your donation appears on the campaign page — the progress bar and donor list update live, without a page refresh.
No. You can donate as a guest without registering. Creating an account is only useful if you also want to start a campaign or keep your donations together in one place.
Card payments are not available yet. When they are switched on they will be processed by Stripe, your card details will never touch GoFundMeNow servers, and this page will say so.
Yes. Tick the anonymous option when you donate and your name will not be shown on the campaign's public donor list. Note that this hides your name publicly, not internally: our administrators can still see who made the donation, because we need that for fraud and compliance review.
Pakistani rupees (PKR). US dollar donations by card are not available yet.
We are still finalising our fee schedule, and it will be published on this page in full. Until then, every fee that applies to a donation is shown at checkout, before you confirm — you will never be charged a fee you were not shown first. Your wallet provider (JazzCash or EasyPaisa) also applies its own processing charge, which is set by them, not by us.
Refunds are handled case by case, so please contact us with the campaign name, the amount and the date of your donation, and we will look into it. Our formal refund policy, including the time window in which a refund can be requested, is being finalised and will be published here.
You receive an on-screen confirmation and an email receipt for every donation. We make no claim that donations are tax-deductible — whether they are depends on your circumstances and the fundraiser, so please confirm with a tax adviser before treating a donation that way.
You need an account — register or log in, then go to Start a campaign. Give it a title, a description of what the money is for, a category, a goal amount and a currency. Your campaign is saved as a draft first, so you can come back and finish it.
Because every campaign is reviewed by an administrator before it goes public. A campaign moves from draft to pending review when you submit it, and becomes active once it is approved. This is deliberate — it is how we keep fraudulent and misleading campaigns off the platform. Review is done by a person, and we do not yet publish a guaranteed turnaround; we aim to review promptly and will notify you when your campaign is approved or if we need more information. A campaign can also be rejected, and a live one can later be paused or marked completed.
Open it from your dashboard and choose Edit. You can revise the title, description, goal, category and images. Significant changes to a campaign that is already live may be re-checked by an administrator.
Each campaign has an Updates section. Post there to tell your donors what has happened since they gave — what was bought, who was helped, what is still needed. Updates appear on the campaign page immediately, and donors following the page see them without reloading. Regular updates are the single best thing you can do to keep people donating.
Upload images while creating or editing the campaign. JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP files are accepted. Real photos of the situation or the people involved do far more for a campaign than stock imagery.
By submitting a withdrawal request from your dashboard. You say how much you want paid out and give the bank account it should go to. The request is queued for an administrator, who reviews it and then processes the payout. Funds are not transferred automatically.
Check these carefully. A wrong account title or number is the most common reason a payout is delayed or rejected.
An administrator checks the request against the campaign before approving it. A request is either approved and then processed, or rejected. An administrator can attach a note to a rejected request explaining why, so you can correct it and submit again.
The full payout timeline — how long review takes and how long the bank transfer takes after approval — is being finalised and will be published here. Once you request a withdrawal, you can follow its status (pending, approved, then processed) from your dashboard.
The minimum withdrawal amount and the rules for withdrawing before a goal is reached are being finalised and will be published here. Until then, contact us and we will confirm what applies to your campaign.
After you register we email you a verification link. Open the email and click the link — that's the whole process.
Still nothing? Contact us with the email address you signed up with and we will sort it out.
Use Forgot password and we will email you a reset link. We cannot tell you your existing password, and neither can anyone else here — passwords are stored hashed with bcrypt, never in plain text. Anyone who asks you for your password is not us.
Go to Edit profile to update your name, email address, mobile number, avatar and bio. Those are the only details we hold on your account.
Only email address verification and password resets. We do not use your address for anything else.
Ask us directly — head to Contact us or email info@gofundmenow.pk. Include the campaign name and, for anything payment-related, the amount and date, so we can find it quickly.
